Dr. Haleh Arbab has over four decades of experience as a leader in education for development. She creates programs and systems that value participation, justice, and learning in action, and develops and applies educational materials that draw from both spiritual and scientific sources of practical knowledge.

Dr. Bradley Wilson is Associate Professor of Geography and Executive Director of the Center for Resilient Communities at West Virginia University.

Dr. Bita Correa has worked extensively with FUNDAEC since 2007 on a variety of programs and projects including: developing a technical degree program on “Administration of Local Economies”, coordinating the Preparation for Social Action program nationally and internationally, and expanding it through teacher training and organizational development across 7 countries in Africa, Asia, and Australasia.

Stephanie brings over two decades of experience advancing social and economic development initiatives across the globe through organizations including Fundaec, Nur University, and the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity.

Sharona Shuster brings two decades of professional experience advancing gender equality and fostering the organizational development of national and international social enterprises.

Dr. Joseph Lample is Programs Lead of the Kimanya-Ngeyo Foundation for Science and Education in Uganda, where he has worked for the last decade. During this period, Joseph developed an in-service professional development program, with support from the Ministry of Education and Sports, to train over 2,000 primary and secondary school teachers using materials from Fundaec’s Preparation for Social Action (PSA) program.

Zaynab Gates is an educational researcher focused on teacher learning and social development, with two decades of experience working in Latin America and with Indigenous communities.

Dr. Anissa Moeini is a founder and social scientist whose work centers on strengthening the capacity of mission-driven companies to deliver trusted, sustained impact for the people and communities they serve. She is the Founder & CEO of Goldstar Education, pioneering impact diagnostics for purpose-driven innovation, and an Honorary Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UCL’s Institute of Education, where she continues to advance research and thought leadership in impact and innovation.

Guilda brings over three decades of volunteer leadership and service in community development across Southern California, Maryland, and Virginia. She is dedicated to strengthening communities through grassroots educational initiatives serving children, youth, and adults, including the development of programs and curricula that foster growth, connection, and lifelong learning.

Shamim is a development professional and former diplomat with a passion for shaping results-driven solutions in emerging markets. He has 15 years of experience in project management, stakeholder engagement and policy analysis in education and financial inclusion.

Dawn Vermilya’s professional path has been shaped by a desire to serve and a commitment to continuous learning across disciplines and cultures.
