Stephanie Pirroni
Stephanie brings over two decades of experience advancing social and economic development initiatives across the globe through organizations including Fundaec, Nur University, and the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity.
At FUNDAEC, Stephanie coordinated the Supporting Community Leaders program, assisting marginalized youth to access higher education and training that equip them to pursue professions that contribute to the well-being of their families and community. She also led, in collaboration with the Secretary of Education of Risaralada, Colombia, the development of an innovative literacy project focused on promoting a culture of reading and gender equality amongst rural primary school students and their families. As part of the Preparation for Social Action program at Fundaec, she built learning and evaluation capacities for organizations implementing the program.
Prior to her work with FUNDAEC, Stephanie worked with Nur University in the field of community development and participatory evaluation and as a managing editor of the Comparative Education Review Journal.
At present, Stephanie is serving as the Director of the Institute for Studies in Global Prosperity in Haifa, Israel, where she oversees the implementations of a university seminar program that has trained over 13,000 students in more than 105 countries.
Dr. Pirroni holds a Doctorate in Education from the Center for International Education at the University of Massachusetts.
